About Us

Over the last 13 years the Rovers Supporters Group, or RSG as it is more commonly known, has had to evolve to meet the increasing challenges the club have asked of us. The RSG is the supporters of Hull Kingston Rovers and we believe that without the support you have given this great club of ours it may not now exist. As it is your support has enabled the club to reach its current status as one of the top Super League Clubs in the country.

Some of the RSG’s achievements are:

Establishing the Rovers Supporters Group “The RSG” in 1997.
“March 2000” sponsored walk held before the Swinton game. Between 1500 & 2000 supporters took part in the walk, which raised £25,000 with £5000 going back to local amateur sporting clubs and schools who participated.
The RSG raised over £250,000 in its first 10 years.
Helping the Club sign or retain over 90 players.
Supporting the Club’s academy set up.
“Meet the Players” and other fund raising events.
Organising Player of the Year Awards for both first team and Academy players.
10 year anniversary dinner to celebrate the success of the RSG.
Moving on to more recent times the RSG was proud to contribute towards the signing Scott Murrell one of the pivotal signings in the push towards Super League, Michael Dobson followed in 2008 and in 2010 we are in our third year as Shaun Briscoe’s sponsor and have also made a contribution towards the signing of Josh Hodgson and provided funds to enable Scott Spaven & Scott Taylor to train full time with the first team squad during 2010. 
The future for Hull Kingston Rovers looks bright. Re-established as the No1 Rugby League Club in the City of Hull, more and more top class youngsters are signing up and the Club continues to improve both on and off the field. With your support the RSG will continue to play an active role in supporting the Club to achieve it’s ultimate goal as being the No1 club in this great sport.
